Recording

With the use of different methods, microphones, preamps, and processing, we work together to capture a great recording of the instrumentals and vocals on your compositions, while also striving to reach the best possible performance. Each artist, band, song, and instrument are unique to every recording session and could require a different approach then others. During tracking, it is exciting to hear the components of a song, or album come to life and build into a mix. 

The goal is to capture the artist's exclusive sound, not to reproduce something that has already been done.

Mixing

Adjustments of the levels, frequency content, dynamics, and stereo location are utilized for each track, or each recorded component, to form a stereo track. Utilizing processing and effects, we can further individualize the composition to better suit the final product. 

Now that we have multi-tracked all the components of the band, lets make it sound like the band as a whole is playing together, make the listener feel like they are in the same room.
